How do I prepare the Driftwood before placing it in the tank?
The driftwood arrives pre-washed. Soak it in a bucket of water for 24 to 48 hours before use, changing the water once. This removes excess tannins and ensures it sinks properly.
How many Almond Leaves should I use in an 8 inch tank?
Start with half a leaf or one small leaf. Allow it to decompose naturally — fish and shrimp will graze on it. Replace with a fresh leaf every 2 to 3 weeks.
