Zero was our first fish who did not survive the artificial world we had created for him. Like many people, we had accepted the familiar belief: “Fish simply die.”
But losing Zero made us question that belief.
Fish are not decorations. They are living beings—and when their environment does not support their natural needs, they cannot truly thrive.
That loss became our purpose. Zero Aqua was born in Delhi to challenge India’s conventional approach to fishkeeping and replace artificial-looking, short-lived setups with thoughtful, nature-led habitats.
Today, we are more than an aquarium studio. We are a Natural Ecosystem Studio and living art gallery, creating planted aquariums, aquascapes, terrariums, paludariums, preserved moss art, natural hardscapes and custom installations.
We bring together water, plants, stone, wood and patient craftsmanship to create miniature worlds that feel alive, beautiful for your space and kinder to the life within.
